Hello,
Since the beginning of the semester, I have had some organizational issues. Also, some issues with grammar and punctuation. Now, I feel that those issues have been remedied. The strategies that have helped me the most have to be in class discussions and office appointments. In class discussions helped emphasize the fact that everyone has an opinion and there are many ways to look at situations. The office meeting helped me find a singular focus to better organize my papers. The easiest paper to write was the last paper. I feel like I took the proper steps to improve my writing skills in the first two papers that I was prepared to have a clear and easily understood idea for my last paper. As for the most beneficial lesson, I feel that all the work that we did on citations were the best. As a result of these lesson, I feel very confident in my up coming college years to write college level papers.
Thank you,
Aaron

Poettry for April 1st
Hello,
Unlike most men, I enjoy reading feminist literature. This is a direct reflection of my love of psychology. The United Stated place copious amounts of emphasis on male dominance and superiority. In my last psychology class, my class mates and I learned that female rights have plateaued and have been at this constant state since the the '70s. I believe men should not be superior to women just because they are men. There are many complex characteristics that make people better candidates for various tasks. Some characteristics being leadership skills, communication skills, and the list goes on. There are my thoughts on the poetry packet overall.

The Flea
Hello,
MARK but this flea - marked by lust
It suck'd me first, and now sucks thee, - the man found his prey and she accepted
A sin, nor shame, nor loss of maidenhead - the man and woman had sex
enjoys before it woo...swells with one blood made of two - passionate and loving sex
O stay, three lives in one flea spare - the man feels he can spare her life because he loves her
more than married are...Our marriage bed, and marriage temple is - the women trusts him and loves him
Though use make you apt to kill me,
Let not to that self-murder added be,
And sacrilege, three sins in killing three. - he must kill her because that is what he does=has sex and then kills the person he has sex with. Even if he has feelings for that person.
Cruel and sudden, hast thou since
Purpled thy nail in blood of innocence? - her dead body
Will waste, as this flea's death took life from thee. - the flea, lust or love, died and so the man had to kill her. "Will waste" - he loved her, but had to kill her because he is sick in the head

First Blog on Poetry
Hello,
My favorite poem is Tonight, Tonight by Smashing Pumpkins. I enjoy songs more than poetry. One because the words are read to me in the form of singing. Also, I like songs better because the listener can feel/hear the emotion through the melodies and harmonies. Poetry is the shortest form of English writing, except for the Iliad and Odyssey, that tells a story and conveys emotion. I will read pretty much anything, but I prefer poems over war and passion.

Last Blog of Dr. Faustus
Hello,
In a recent class discussion, we talked about how far is to far. Meaning, that no matter what happens God will always forgive anything and everything. He may even forgive Lucifer. The Scholars in this last reading backed up this point. They told Faustus to turn to God because God forgives all things. However, if a person is damned and does not turn to God for forgiveness, there is nothing that God can do. This is what happen to Faustus. He feels that I is so damned that nothing can be done to save him. That is why the devil comes to take Faustus away.

Blog # 3 of Dr. Faustus
Hello,
The best classroom debate I have been a part of in a while happen Monday. This debate ranged from topics of theology to black magic. It was a great time. Lindsey, in class I remember you saying something about Faustus does not believe there is a heaven, so why would he believe in hell. I find this statement interesting and true to the story. Yet, there remain another angle to look at. Faustus may not believe in those things, but he is willing at search for them to make sure heaven and hell truly do not exist. The truth in this being, Faustus always asks Mephistophilis what heaven and hell are like. Along with that, Faustus asks Mephistophilis what the origin of the universe is. Also, Faustus always asks to have books on star and planets.

Second Blog Over Scene Five
Hello,
Faustus sells his soul and body to Lucifer. Faustus gain the ability to raise people from the dead with his magic. Lucifer gains an other soul for his army. In the story, Faustus gives his terms of what Lucifer must give him in return for his soul to Mephistophilis. The terms being Faustus must be a spirit, Mephistophilis must be his servant, Mephistophilis must do all Faustus wishes, while in his home Faustus must be invisible, and he was granted a wife. This scene seemed informative and much easier to immerse myself in. The only thing that I noticed was that Faustus asks for all these things, but he never states for how long he will have these gifts. It will be interesting to see if this becomes relevant later.
